Selling the Estonian company to a foreign company

Sometimes it is beneficial to have a foreign company as the owner of the Estonia OÜ company.
A classic way to do this would be selling the company share via a notary. It is a rather complicated and lengthy procedure - many documents about the foreign company are needed, notarized and apostilled.
There is another way to consider and we will outline it here:
Raise the sharecapital to 10 000 euros.
This requires a shareholder decision to raise the capital and amend the articles.
Abolish the notarial requirement for share transfer. Again, done by shareholder decision to amend the articles.
Conclude the share sale agreement and file for the changes in the registry. The registry will not ask for the share sale agreement.
It has to be stressed that a foreign company cannot make shareholder changes using the digital signature of Estonia. So any further shareholder decisions that need to be sent to the registry will be more complicated procedurally.
